Description
Roy Williams Book Group (1949-56). Rare first edition copy of a gag/cartoon book called How's the Back View Coming Along? An Album of Cartoons by Disney Legend Inductee Roy Williams (1907-1976). Roy was a long-time Disney story/gag man as well as a member of the Mickey Mouse Club, as "The Big Mooseketeer." The title page has an original Roy Williams sketch of all Seven Dwarfs, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Mickey Mouse, drawn by hand in blue ink, and inscribed to Bob Dorfman (VP of Disney Publicity in New York), "A great guy that I had the pleasure of working with, from his pal Roy Williams." The book includes the dust jacket, but it's separated at the spine with rips and tears; book is Fine. As a bonus, a copy of Roy's paperback book, The Secret World of Roy Williams is also included. That book has an original caricature drawing by Roy Williams to Bob Dorfman on one page as well. This book is in Fair condition, with loose cover and taped back cover tear.Auction Info
