Description
Pocahontas Flit, Meeko and Pocahontas Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Cel #160/320 (Walt Disney, 1995). "He wants me to be steady." After learning that her dad has plans for her to be married, Pocahontas reflects on what she really wants with her friends, Meeko and Flit. Showcased is a fabulous hand-painted limited edition cel, distributed exclusively to members of the Walt Disney Feature Animation employees. The 16 field-sized cel has Pocahontas measuring 9.5", with Meeko on her shoulder measuring 4.75", and Flit flies nearby at 2.25", as seen at the 12:42 mark of the film. This exclusive limited edition cel was created at the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department and is numbered 160 in the bottom left corner. After production wrapped on Pocahontas, WDFA cast and crew were allowed to select a limited edition cel that was created exclusively for them. Because the film was hand-drawn on paper that was then scanned, painted and composited via computer, there are no production cels so these limited edition cels were created to carry-on the tradition of giving each crew member a production cel. The cel is presented on a printed background, and it bears a Walt Disney Feature Animation stamp in the bottom right corner. Framed in a 21.5" x 16.5" glass-fronted frame with a Disney COA on the reverse. Cel is in Fine condition with minimal wear. All frames are sold as-is.
