Description
Pinocchio Rare Limited Edition Promo Book Group of 2 #96/100 and #14/100 (Walt Disney/Random House/Collins Publishers, 1939). In 1939, in an effort to promote the upcoming animated feature film Pinocchio, Random House printed a spiral-bound book with 12 pages of text explaining the movie, and 30 pages featuring copies of storyboards and model sheets. Versions for both the US and UK (published by Collins) were made. The US copy had a tan cover, while the UK version's cover was green, and both are extremely rare with only 100 made for each country. This lot has #96 of the US version, and #14 of the UK version, both measuring 10.25" x 12.25". Finding either edition can be tough, but even harder to find both in one group lot!
