Peanuts - A Charlie Brown Christmas Animation Drawings Group of 3 (Bill Melendez, 1965). Three original animation drawings from arguably the single most beloved television Christmas Special ever made are offered in this lot. A Charlie Brown Christmas has run on TV every year since it debuted in 1965 and its success paved the way for a series of Charles Schulz-written Peanuts holiday specials and films. Its jazz soundtrack also achieved commercial success, and live theatrical versions of A Charlie Brown Christmas have been staged around the world. These three drawings are from the pivotal moment in the show when Charlie Brown decides to take the little tree that no one wanted. Each of the graphite renderings of Charlie Brown measures approximately 3.5" tall on 12 field animation paper. All are matted and framed identically under Plexiglas with mat openings of 9" x 12" in a 16" x 19" frame. They show light handling and condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.

More Information: EDIT: added "Charles Schulz-written" to second sentence
