Peanuts A Boy Named Charlie Brown "Interesting Conversations" Signed Limited Edition Pan Cel #95/500 (Bill Melendez, 1969/1994). Charlie Brown is the manager and pitcher of his Little League baseball team, and he's determined to win, but it looks like his team would rather stand around and talk! This fantastic and large pan limited edition cel was inspired by the opening and closing scenes from the feature-length animated film A Boy Names Charlie Brown (1969), the first theatrical film featuring Charles Schulz's Peanuts gang. The cel features Charlie Brown's All-Star team, featuring (from left to right) Shermy, Schroeder, Patty, Charlie Brown, Frieda, Linus, Lucy, Violet, Sally Brown, and Pig-Pen. This cel was limited to 500 pieces (this is #95), and has been sold out for over 25 years. It's been signed by director Bill Melendez (1916 - 2008), and includes a Peanuts Film Gallery seal in the lower left. The background is a custom print, added for presentation purposes. Matted with an opening of 31.5" x 11.75", with an overall mat size of 40" x 18". Slight storage damage to the mat, along the right side. Cel condition is Fine. Play ball!
