Mulan Employee-Only Limited Edition Cel #120/160 (Walt Disney, 1998). This first Disney feature film to be primarily animated at Disney/MGM Orlando studio was released on 6/19/98. This hit animated feature film had a direct-to-video sequel and will have a live-action film set to be released in 2020. There were no cels used in the making of Mulan, so a limited series of hand-painted cels were created by the Disney Ink and Paint Department using original production animation drawings and given exclusively to Disney Feature Film cast and crew. This a cel created for Sequence 1.9 Scene 120.5. The Matchmaker suspects that cheat notes may be on Mulan's fan, little suspecting that her other hand has a much better grasp of the situation. Only 160 of these cels were made and this is #120. A great pair of large character images that measure 9" and 10", on a 16 field cel placed on a print background for presentation purposes. Cel bears a Disney Feature Animation seal, and comes with a Disney Certificate of Authenticity. Never sold to the public, these cels are extremely hard to find. Condition is Fine.
