    Description

Mickey's Service Station Mickey Mouse Donald Duck, Goofy, and Peg Leg Pete Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1935). This short was the first cartoon to star Mickey, Donald Duck, and Goofy as a team. It was also one of the last black-and-white Donald and Goofy cartoons. These are a pair of original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings. The first features Mickey, Donald and, Goofy peering around the side of a building in fear of what will happen when Peg Leg Pete starts up his car and it can be seen around the 7:12 mark The three characters are beautifully detailed in graphite measuring 3.5" x 1.5" and numbered 298 in the lower right corner. The accompanying drawing, while not actually in the finished film is from a scene where Pete is chased by the engine of his car. It's an enormous and colorful image measuring 5" x 8" and rendered in graphite with red, green, yellow, and blue penciling and is numbered 153 in the top right corner. Both show minor handling and edge wear; otherwise condition is Fine.
