    Description

Mickey's Garden Mickey Mouse and Hose Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1935). After accidentally being dosed with bug spray, Mickey dreams he and Pluto have shrunk down to insect size. This is a pair of 12-field, 2-peghole production drawings from this Wilfred Jackson directed short. In the first image, Mickey wrestles with an out of control garden hose! It's drawn in graphite with red and green pencil highlights, and measures 2.5" x 10" on 12 field, 2-peghole animation paper that's numbered 533 in both the top and bottom right corners. The second is the hose itself which has come to life in Mikey's dream. It too is rendered in graphite with red pencil highlights and animator notes, measures 3.25" x 3.25" on 12-field, 2 peghole paper, and has the number 137 on the bottom right. The Mickey Drawing shows erasures and some smudging. Both pieces show minor handling and edge wear; otherwise Condition is Very Good.
