Description

Mickey's Christmas Carol Scrooge McDuck SOLD-OUT Limited Edition Cel #125/500 (Walt Disney, 1983/1989). "My partner, Jacob Marley, dead seven years today. He was a good'n. He robbed from the widows and swindled the poor!" Stingy Ebenezer Scrooge sits and counts a stack of gold coins in this excellent hand-painted limited cel. It's a reproduction of Sequence 1, Scene 33 in director Burney Mattinson's modern-era retelling of the Charles Dickens holiday classic starring Disney cartoon characters. And what Disney character could be more perfect for this role than Uncle Scrooge McDuck? Scrooge's approximate image size is 4" x 4". The cel, which has been sold out for over 35 years, includes a Walt Disney Company seal in the lower right, is placed on a matching print background, matted with an opening of 15" x 10.75", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 20.25" x 16.25". A Disney Certificate of Authenticity is on the back side. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cel is in Fine condition with very little handling wear but has slightly shifted away from the background and needs a professional adjustment.
