    Mickey's Christmas Carol Scrooge McDuck Limited Edition Cel #190/500 (Walt Disney, 1983). "...0% interest, compounded!" says Ebenezer Scrooge in the opening scene from this 1983 Academy Award nominated short, directed by Burny Mattinson. This scene happens around the 1:51 mark in the film. It is one of the single best money scenes with Scrooge ever put on film. This is a sold out Walt Disney Studios hand-painted limited edition cel from from Sequence 1/Scene 33. The edition has been sold out for over 25 years! This iconic image of Scrooge measures 5". The cel was created from original studio archived animation drawings. The cel was hand-painted by the world famous Walt Disney Ink and Paint Department on the studio lot in Burbank. This is number 190 of a 500 edition size. The piece was released as a two-cel set. The second piece in this set is also offered as a separate lot in this auction. A Disney seal is on the cel and a Disney COA is on back of the frame. Framed with Plexiglas for a size of 23" x 19" with a mat opening of 15" x 11". Frame is sold as-is. Artwork is in Very Good condition.
