    Description

Merbabies Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). Wilfred Jackson directed this Silly Symphonies short as a sequel to the incredibly popular "Water Babies" which was released three years prior. This adorable pair of production drawings are both on 12 field, 2-peghole animation paper. The first features a little merbaby-boy swimming around a bubble from around the 6:44 mark. It's rendered in graphite and colored with green, yellow, pink, and red pencil, and measures 3.5" x 4". It bears a scene stamp and is numbered 41 in the lower right corner. The second drawing shows a merbaby-girl climbing on a bubble from around the 6:00 mark. She is rendered in graphite and red pencil, measures 3.25" x 3.5", and is stamped and numbered 12A in the lower right. Both show handling and edge wear, otherwise Condition is Fine.
