Max's Cafe Betty Boop and Koko Limited Edition Cel #28/125 Signed by Richard Fleischer (King Features Syndicate/Fleischer Studios, 1989). Koko invites Betty to come out of the cold and join him at Max Fleischer's café in this early Betty Boop limited edition Fine Art cel. With only 125 hand-inked hand-painted cels produced this tiny edition sold out immediately and inspired a line of ltd. Edition cels, serigraphs and prints created to fulfill the demand of Boop and Fleischer Studios collectors. This image featuring Betty and Koko the Clown is presented over an original hand-painted watercolor background, bears a studio seal in the lower left corner and is hand-numbered 28/125 on the Certificate of Authenticity mounted to the back of the frame. The cel has been signed by Max Fleischer's son Richard just on front of the café window. The piece is framed under Plexiglas with mat opening of 16" x 9.5" in a 24" x 17.5" frame. Condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.
