Lady and the Tramp Lady and Tramp Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1955). Disney story man Joe Grant came up with the idea for Lady and the Tramp after seeing how his Springer Spaniel named Lady got "shoved aside" by his new baby. He pitched it to Walt Disney who thought it needed work. It was shelved for many years until Walt read the short story "Happy Dan, The Cynical Dog" by Ward Greene and got the idea of combining the two stories to create Lady and the Tramp. This is wonderful pair of original animation drawings of both title characters drawn in graphite with red and green colored pencil on 12 field animation paper. Lady measures approximately 3" x 6.5" and appears around the 17:04. Both are framed under glass in matching 20" x 16" frames with a mat openings of 13" x 9.5". This was the very first animated feature film produced in CinemaScope. The paper shows minor handling and use; otherwise, condition is Fine. Frames are sold as-is.
