Description
Hunter x Hunter "Next of Spiders x Captive x Killing Technique" Killua Production Cel with Production Background and Matching Animation Drawing (Nippon Animation, 2001). Trapped in a room by Nabunaga and unable to escape, Killua lets out his rage on a nearby wall. This outstanding 12 field 3-peghole production cel and matching animation drawing were created for about 16:30 in the 59th episode of the 1999 series, released on 3/3/2001. The episode was part of the Yorknew City arc and left Gon and Killua in a tough spot, pinning them against the number 1 member of the Phantom Troupe. Both the hand-painted cel and graphite with color pencil animation drawing are intense and emotional, capturing Killua's rage perfectly. The lot also comes with a stunning gouache and pen production drawing that doesn't look to be from the episode. Killua measures roughly 10.5'' x 8.25'' on both animation drawing and cel while the background is around 13.5'' x 9.5'', marked B5 and 16 respectively. Very Good condition overall with minor edge and handling wear, pinholes at the edges of the background, and faint paint debris.More information about Nippon Animation.
