Fushigi Yugi Miaka and Tamahome Limited Edition Cel (Studio Pierrot, 2000). Offered in this lot is a fantastic hand-inked and hand-painted limited edition cel created for the fantasy romance hit series Fushigi Yugi, based on Yuu Watase's manga of the same name. Featuring the core love interests of the series, Miaka Yuki and Tamahome, this beautiful piece is an excellent find for any Fushigi Yugi fan. The cel is accompanied by its original "Limited Edition - Hand Inked" certificate, which states that the image was used for the Bandai anime series DVD Volume 2 jacket. This rare limited edition was created in limited quantities and long sold out for over 20 years. The cel measures 17" x 13" with a substantial image area of 13.25" x 10.25". Displayed on a white textured paper background for presentation, the cel shows very little handling and edge wear with some tape on the edges.
