Fantasia "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" Mickey Mouse as Sorcerer's Apprentice SOLD-OUT Limited Edition Cel #16/125 and Animation Drawing Limited Edition Print 16/50 (Walt Disney, 1940/2007). Mickey Mouse tries Yen Sid's magic hat in this sensational lot that presents a rare hand-painted limited edition cel accompanied by a limited edition print of the matching animation drawing. This spectacular recreation of one of Mickey Mouse's most iconic roles was taken from original production art used in creating the scene at the 31:24 mark of the emblematic segment "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" Fantasia. The limited edition cel, crafted at the Walt Disney Ink and Paint Department, features a phenomenal full-figure image of Mickey measuring 3.5" x 7" and showcased on a gorgeous Giclée copy of the scene's background, bearing a Disney stamp and numbered 16/125 in the bottom left corner. Numbered 16 out of just 50 ever created, the print for the matching animation drawing offers a rare image of the matching animation drawing for the cel showcases a Disney Studio Art Collection seal in the bottom left corner. The limited edition cel and print are offered on a 18.75" x 27.25" Plexiglas-fronted frame with two 12" x 9.75" mat opening. All frames are sold as-is.
