Dumbo Timothy Mouse and Jim Dandy Crow Vernon Kiln Art Ware Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1941). Vernon Kiln was one of the Big-5 California pottery companies in the 1930s and '40s. They made both dinnerware and art ware. They signed a contract with Walt Disney Studios for pieces based on the films Fantasia, The Reluctant Dragon, and Dumbo. Their partnership ended at the beginning of World War II. Here are two Vernon Kiln art ware pieces made for Dumbo of Timothy Mouse and Jim Dandy Crow. Both have Vernon Kiln stampings on the bottom. They are 5" - 5.5" in size. Nice finish on both. Both are considered to be hard to find. These attractive fragile pieces have minor handling wear, with a small crack in the finish on Jim Dandy Crow's tail. In Very Good condition.
