Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas Signed Limited Edition Cel AP #26/40 with Concept Art Prints Group of 3 (MGM, 1996) This is an extraordinarily rare Chuck Jones limited edition cel titled "Welcome Christmas." Included with it are two prints of Mr. Jones' artwork used in the development of the final piece. The hand-painted 16 field cel over a print background features an amazing image inspired by the final scene of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It's an Artist's Proof (AP) #26 of 40 and is signed by both legendary director Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) and noted background designer Maurice Noble (1911 - 2001). Along with the cel are two 13.5" x 16.5" prints of artwork created by Chuck Jones in the making of this edition. One is the line work for the cel and the other is a rough color sketch of the entire composition. All pieces in the lot are in Fine condition and a Linda Jones Certificate of Authenticity is included with the cel.
