DescriptionDonald Duck Disneyland Display Statue (Walt Disney, c. 1980s). A one-of-a-kind fabric Donald Duck statue in a custom Plexiglas case, used as a display-only piece at the Disneyana Shop located in Disneyland. The custom base reads, "Donald Duck 1934." This elaborate display piece was formerly owned by Sir Elton John, and included in Sotheby's four day Elton John charity sale in September, 1988, which raised over $8 million. It was resold in a 2010 Bonham's auction. This is a very rare and unique item of immense high quality. Donald stands about 11" tall, while his display case measures approximately 15.5" x 12".
