Daffy Duck "Sound Please!" Limited Edition Cel #187/500 (Warner Brothers, 1994). Original hand-painted Limited Edition cel of Daffy Duck, created from an original Chuck Jones drawing inspired by his classic 1953 theatrical short Duck Amuck. This is the short where Daffy is badgered, changed, and prodded by an unseen animator, putting him in all kinds of uncomfortable circumstances. The animator at the end is shown to be none other than Bugs Bunny. This is the scene where he is drawn as a duded-up cowpoke singer, but lack of soundtrack prompts him to hold up a sign saying "Sound Please." This cel was released under the "Masters Collection" series first sold at the Warner Brothers Studio Stores. It is an edition of only 500 pieces (this is #187), and was a quick sell-out in 1994. The cel has a Linda Jones seal and is hand-signed by animation legend Mr. Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002); a Warner Brothers COA is included. Great large image of Daffy measuring 8", set against a clever film background on the sides. Matted with an opening of 12" x 10", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 19" x 17". Frame is sold as-is. Cel is in Very Good condition.
