Description
Cinderella "Dream Waltz" 1 of 1 Cel (Walt Disney, 1950/2000). "So this is love, so this is what makes life divine..." Hand-inked and hand-painted at the Walt Disney Ink and Paint department, this is an astonishing original one-of-one recreation cel created from the original production drawings of Cinderella. From Sequence 4, Scene 44 of the film, only 145 unique pieces were made, effectively re-animating the scene. No two cels in the release are alike! Each is individually numbered 1/1 with drawing, sequence, and scene numbers marked in the lower left. The painted image measures 5" x 7" on a 16 field cel, displayed over a high-quality printed background. The entire edition was an instant sell-out at the time, and these desirable works of art rarely come up for resale today. The setup bears a Disney seal and comes complete with a Disney Certificate of Authenticity. The frame measures 27" x 22.5" under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 15.75" x 11.5". Fine condition.
