Chuck Jones "What's Opera, Doc? IV" Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd Limited Edition Cel #443/750 (Warner Brothers, 1997). Possibly the most famous Bugs Bunny cartoon of all time, What's Opera Doc? is often quoted and fondly remembered by fans. "Oh Bwunehilda, you're so wuvwee." This 16 field hand-painted limited edition cel features Elmer Fudd as Siegfried and Bugs Bunny as the wuvwee Brunnhilde from their classic dance sequence. The cel was created from an original drawing by Chuck Jones (1912-2002), director of the theatrical short. The characters measure 8" and 9" and the image is Plexiglas front framed to 23" x 19.5" with an inner mat opening of 16" x 13". The cel is signed by Chuck Jones, numbered, and bears a Linda Jones seal. As a bonus, the mat itself is personalized and signed by long-time layout man for Chuck Jones, Mr. Maurice Noble (1911-2001). It reads "Best Wishes to the Beslow's - Maurice Noble" and was signed as a gallery event in the late 1990's. There is a COA on the reverse. In Fine condition.
