Carl Barks "Hands Off My Playthings" Uncle Scrooge Limited Edition Statue #153/179 (Walt Disney, 1997). Uncle Scrooge is upset with his nephew Donald Duck and Donald's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, for what he considers to be their lack of respect for money and the hard work it takes to accumulate a "Money Bin" full of it, in this amazing statue. This great 16" tall bronze was designed by Carl Barks, sculpted by Bruce Lau and was produced at Parks Bronze Foundry. Check out the intricate detail in the coins at Scrooge's feet! Uncle Scrooge's three cubic acre money bin had a depth gauge and his coins are shown here resting at a comfortable level of 90 feet. Also at Scrooge's feet is the jade elephant that was often shown in the money bin scenes in the comic books. An engraved Carl Barks signature is on the gauge as is a sharpie signature by renowned sculptor Mr. Bruce Lau. In Fine condition.
