Bugs Bunny "You Snooze, You Lose" Limited Edition Cel, SP 5/27 (Warner Brothers, 1992). Limited edition hand-inked, hand-painted cel taken directly from original Robert McKimson artwork, this piece features one of the few characters who was ever able to beat Bugs Bunny at his own game, Cecil the Turtle. In all three shorts in which they appear together, the two of them challenge each other in racing, a la Aesop's Fables. Bugs has just overindulged in carrots and is napping it off. Cecil tries to tiptoe by him, as Bugs cracks his right eye open. Combined character image area measures 8" x 4" on this 12 field cel; unavailable for nearly 30 years! A WB seal and a facsimile McKimson signature are in the bottom left corner. Cel is numbered "Studio Proof" 5/27, COA included. It has been placed over a print background for display purposes. In Fine condition.
