    Description

Bambi Bambi, Flower, and Thumper Limited Edition Cel #388/500 (Walt Disney, 1988). This is the very first hand-painted, limited edition cel produced by Disney Art Editions in 1988. It was an edition of only 500, and was an almost instant sell out more than 25 years ago. This cel was painted by the Disney Ink and Paint Department using artwork from Sequence 2.2 Scene 19 of the original film, where a young Bambi first makes friends with Thumper and Flower. This cel is #388/500, with a Disney seal on the cel. Delightful images of 3" to 5" each. The cel is on a printed background for presentation purposes. An original Disney Certificate of Authenticity is on the back of the 21" x 17" mat. A very hard-to-find piece, in Fine condition.
