Atlantis: The Lost Empire Character Design Binders Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 2001). This is just about a rare as anything you might find in animation art. Here are four character design binders from Walt Disney's animated science fiction film, Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Character design books like these are given to artist and animators on the film to help maintain consistency and follow the approved character designs. Three of the binders contain thirty-nine 11" x 17" model sheet copies with notes on the character's design. One of these books is noted as Chen Yi Character Designs. Another one of the books contains thirty 8.5" x 11" and is noted as John Watkiss designs. It can not be overstated how rare these highly prized character design books are - they rarely come to market. The books are actual working documents used in the production of Atlantis: The Lost Empire. They exhibit mild overall wear. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
