"Wed Wiver Vahwee" Limited Edition Cel #24/750 Signed by Chuck Jones (Warner Brothers, 1991). After an accountant at Warner Brothers Studio made the fateful decision to destroy the animation archives in order to cut costs on storage, director Chuck Jones began fulfilling the demands of collectors by creating a series of hand-painted limited edition cels. His western-themed cels "Last Chance Saloon" and "Next to Last Chance Saloon" were instant sell-outs. This one followed, which includes 10 Looney Tunes characters on a 16 field cel over a print background. The cel includes Porky, Petunia, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Marvin the Martian, Pepé LePew, Yosemite Sam, and Daffy Duck as they listen to Elmer Fudd play piano. This is #24 of an edition of 750 and is hand-signed by the artist Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). The cel bears a Linda Jones seal and a COA is on back of frame. It is in a frame of 24" x 21" with a mat opening of 16" x 13" under Plexiglas. Condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.
