Description
"The Perfect Wave" Bugs Bunny Limited Edition Cel #50/100 (Warner Brothers, 2000). Bugs Bunny has on occasion disguised himself as a mermaid, in order to fool a Russian dog in the 1944 short Hare Ribbin', and again in 1997's From Hare to Eternity, for the benefit of Yosemite Sam. In this cool hand-painted limited edition cel, a surfing Bugs encounters a cute "merbunny" leaping up from the waves -- what a delightful twist! This tough-to-find piece was issued in an edition of only 100; this one is #50. The cel has been hand-signed by the artist, animation legend Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002), and features a Linda Jones seal in the lower left corner. The print background has been added for presentation purposes. The cel has been framed with plexiglass and matted, with a matboard aperture of 11.75" x 9.75". Also included is a Linda Jones Certificate of Authenticity. Fine condition, with frame sold as-is. Surf's up!Auction Info
