"The Cratchit Family" Mickey's Christmas Carol Limited Edition Cel #390/500 (Walt Disney, 1989). After being away for over 30 years, Mickey Mouse returned to the big screen in a big way with this Academy Award-nominated short. In it Mickey starred as Bob Cratchit in Dickens' timeless holiday tale. This is a long sold-out hand-painted limited edition cel titled "The Cratchit Family" that was released in 1989. It was created using original production art from Sequence 1/Scene 241 and features Bob Cratchit and two of his children decorating the Christmas tree under the loving gaze of Mrs. Cratchit. The cel was painted at the Walt Disney Ink and Paint Department located on the studio lot and is over a print background. It is hand-numbered 390/500 and bears a Disney seal in the lower right. The art is in a 22" x 19" frame with a Disney COA on the back. Condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.
