    Description

"Ravishing Ronald" Bugs Bunny Limited Edition Pan Cel #30/100 (Warner Brothers, 2000). In Bunny Hugged (1951), Bugs works for wrestler Ravishing Ronald (based on then-popular wrestling star Gorgeous George). Ronald's opponent is the frightening, muscle-bound Crusher, whose pummeling of Ronald brings Bugs to the ring as "The Masked Terror." Here is a rare limited edition pan cel from the beginning of that Chuck Jones-directed short, as the genteel Ronald is brought in on a platter, with Bugs revealed as his mascot. This one doesn't show up too often, having been a quick sell-out of only 100 pieces (this is #30). Cel includes a print background; it's matted with an opening of 23.75" x 10", with an overall mat size of 28" x 14". Animation legend Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) hand-signed the cel, which also includes a Linda Jones seal in the lower right. Fine condition.
