"Porky in Wackyland" Porky Pig Limited Edition Cel #289/500 (Warner Brothers, 1991). Bob Clampett directed this black and white theatrical short starring Porky Pig on his hunt for the Do-Do Bird. This cartoon was selected #8 in for the top 50 cartoons in Jerry Beck's book The 50 Greatest Cartoons. It also selected in 2000 for the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress. This is one important piece of animation. With little production animation art from this short out there, Clampett Productions released this great hand-painted limited edition in 1991. You can see this exact scene in the short around the 3:29 mark. It was an edition of only 500 and was an immediate sell-out. Clampett seal is on the cel and a COA is on back of frame. The artwork is in a Plexiglas-front frame measuring 19" x 17" with a mat opening of 12" x 10". Frame is sold as-is; condition is Very Good. From the Jerry Eisenberg Archives.
