"Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy" Pinocchio Limited Edition Cel #84/275 (Walt Disney, 1990). "Prove yourself brave, truthful, and unselfish, and someday you will be a real boy." Walt Disney Studio released this rare hand-inked hand-painted limited edition cel titled "Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy" in 1990. The cel depicting sequence 1.5/Scene 51 where the Blue Fairy brings Pinocchio to life was created using original archived artwork and painted at the Disney Ink and Paint Department on the studio lot. Only 275 were made, and the detailed hand-inking needed to paint the Fairy and especially her wings made it one of the most difficult limited edition cels ever produced. This long sought-after Fine Art cel has been sold-out for almost 30 years and rarely comes up for sale. The cel bears a Disney seal and a studio COA is on back of the frame. The art is in a frame measuring 23" x 19" with a mat opening of 15" x 11". It's a remarkable Fine Art cel and a tiny edition. Condition is Very Good and frame is sold as-is.
