    Description

"Pepé's 50th Birthday" Pepé le Pew and Bugs Bunny Limited Edition Cel #103/400 (Warner Brothers, 1995). Amorous French skunk Pepé Le Pew made his first appearance in the 1945 Looney Tunes short Odor-able Kitty, directed by Chuck Jones. To celebrate this milestone, Jones teamed with Warner Brothers to produce this hand-painted limited edition cel of Bugs Bunny presenting his famous co-worker with a cake -- from a safe distance! This sold-out edition is a popular one with fans, as the few copies offered online regularly sell for steep prices. The cel has an overall size of 25" x 10.5" with figure sizes of 8.25" and 5.25" on a print background, added for presentation purposes. The cel is hand-signed by animation legend Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). A Linda Jones seal is along the left side, and a Linda Jones COA is included. Fine condition.
