"Michigan J. Frog V" Limited Edition Cel 82/500 Signed by Chuck Jones (Warner Brothers, 2000). Michigan J. Frog appeared occasionally in Looney Tunes cartoon shorts after having debuted in One Froggy Evening in 1955. He is a frog with quite a talent for singing and dancing. Ed Sullivan influenced the character according to Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). In this lot is a fantastic limited edition cel of Michigan J. Frog standing almost 8" tall. The original line image was hand-drawn and hand-inked on paper by the legendary animator, Chuck Jones. The image line was then transferred by hand-cut serigraph screen to 12 field acetate and then hand-painted. Mr. Jones approved each finished cel with his signature, which can be seen on this piece. The cel has a seal of authenticity affixed to the front. The cel is paired with a copy background for presentation purposes. Included is a Linda Jones Certificate of Authenticity. Condition is Very Good.
