    "Just Around the River Bend" Pocahontas Limited Edition Publishers Proof #11/50 (Walt Disney, 1995). This is a publisher's proof, number 11 of only 50 pieces from Walt Disney's Pocahontas. The film is the first animated Disney feature film to be based on a real historic character, and the folklore and legend that surrounds the Native American woman Pocahontas. It features a fictionalized account of her encounter with Englishman John Smith and the settlers that arrived from the Virginia Company. The limited edition cel titled "Just Around the River Bend" was taken from Sequence 5, Scene 25. The piece was hand-inked and hand-painted on acetate at the world-famous Disney Ink and Paint Department located on the studio lot in Burbank, California. The cel measures 19.5" x 11.5" and is in a frame of 29" x 21". Frame sold as-is. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney is included. Fine condition.
