"Just Around the River Bend" Pocahontas Limited Edition Cel #253/500 (Walt Disney, 1995). There were no hand-painted production cels used in the making of this, Disney's 33rd animated feature film, so in order to meet the demands of animation collectors the studio released this stunning hand-painted limited edition. In this scene, Pocahontas sings to Meeko and Flit about how her uncertain future is like a winding river, never revealing what lies ahead. This was the first limited edition cel released for this film and was created from original production artwork used for Sequence 5/Scene 25 and painted at the Disney Ink and Paint Department on the Studio lot. The cel is hand-numbered numbered 253/500, is over a print background, and bears a Disney seal. A studio issued COA is affixed to back of the frame. Frame is 29" x 21" with a mat opening of 19" x 11". Condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.
