"I Do" Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Wedding Scene Limited Edition Cel #39/300 (Walt Disney, 2002). Among Disney fans, it is common knowledge that Mickey Mouse is NOT married to Minnie Mouse. (They are though really close friends!) However, in the 1932 short Mickey's Nightmare, he does have a wedding dream sequence. This is the Walt Disney Studio hand-painted limited edition cel from this sequence. The original Bert Gillett-directed short was released on 8/5/32, featuring Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto. The wedding sequence in this short is around the 1:47 mark. Wedded bliss does not last long! This magnificent recreation was hand-painted by the Walt Disney's Studio's Ink and Paint Department using archived animation drawings. This rare black and white cel was an edition of only 300 pieces and this is # 39 of only 300. Black and white hand-painted limited editions are very rare for Walt Disney Studios. Great images of Mickey, Minnie and Pluto, with sizes of 4" - 5". The cel is on a print background for personation purposes. Matted with an opening of 15" x 12" and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 24" x 20". A Disney seal is on the cel and Disney COA is on back of the frame.
