"Gorilla For Sale" Magilla Gorilla Limited Edition Animation Cel Signed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera #27/200 (Hanna-Barbera, 1997). "How much is that, um, Gorilla in the window..." Inspired by the wacky antics from The Magilla Gorilla Show, this hand-painted limited edition cel casts a little girl, Ogee as the hero, springing Magilla from Mr. Peebles' pet shop. Using original artwork from Iwao Takamoto (1925 - 2007), the cel was hand-painted on 16 field acetate measuring 16" x 13.5" and paired with a background lithograph for presentation purposes. The background was created by Dennis Durrell and reproduced using a fine art lithography process. The cel was signed by legendary animation producers, Bill Hanna (1910 - 2001) and Joe Barbera (1911 - 2006). The piece is enclosed in a glass-fronted frame of 22" x 20.5" with a mat opening of 15.5" x 13". Frame sold as-is. The cel is numbered 27 from an edition of 200. Condition is Fine.
