Description
"Frigid Hare" Bugs Bunny and Playboy Penguin Limited Edition Cel #90/500 Signed by Chuck Jones (Warner Brothers, 1992). "Oh, always somethin'! I'll never get to Miami!" Bugs can't seem to shake the little penguin he bumps into after another wrong turn leads the vacationing rabbit to the South Pole. Here's Bugs and the penguin in a Chuck Jones limited edition cel, which has been sold out for over thirty years. It's based on an original Chuck Jones drawing and the 1949 cartoon of the same name; speaking of names, Bugs' little ice-cube crying pal would be named Playboy Penguin in his second appearance, 8 Ball Bunny (1950). The cel includes a Linda Jones hologram seal in the lower left; the icy background is a special print, added for presentation purposes. The original cartoon's director, Animation Legend Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) hand-signed the cel. The cel is matted with an opening of 12" x 10" and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 19.25" x 17.25".Auction Info
