"Acme Bird Seed" Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote Signed Double Limited Edition Cel #149/500 (Warner Brothers, 1993). The Warner Brothers Studio Store opened its first location on 9/20/91. It grew to be 130 locations worldwide. The popularity of animation art boomed in these locations. A "Masters Collection" of Looney Tunes animation art was created to be sold in these stores. This is a long sold out double-aperture hand-painted limited edition that was called "Acme Bird Seed." It was created from an actual Chuck Jones gag drawing. In panel one we see the Road Runner eating Acme ironized bird seed, and in the second aperture, we see Wile E. with a magnet. This piece was an almost instant sell out over 25 years ago. The two cels are matted together with openings of 11" x 9.5", and framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 34" x 18". A Linda Jones seal is on both cels and both are hand-signed by Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). The signature has faded a little. A studio COA is on the back of the frame. Frame is missing original plastic covering; the frame is sold as-is. Cel condition is Very Good.
