DescriptionLambert the Sheepish Lion Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1952). This Academy Award-nominated short was directed by Jack Hanna and told the story of a lion mistakenly delivered to a sheep by the stork and raised as part of the flock. Sterling Holloway narrates, with voice help from June Foray and Stan Freeberg. The short was released on 2/8/52. This is a great hand-inked and hand-painted production cel with a nice 6" x 3.5" full-figure. Lambert also made an appearance in the Jack Kinney short "Social Lion" in 1954. This was Emperor Hirahito's favorite Disney cartoon, and the studio sent him his own print. It's very difficult to find cels of Lambert! Very Good condition.
