Lady and the Tramp Siamese Cat Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1955). This full-figure hand-inked and hand-painted animation cel of Si (or is it Am?), one of Aunt Sarah's mischievous Siamese cats, was created in the Disney Ink & Paint Department and photographed during the making of this Walt Disney Studios animated CinemaScope feature. Aunt Sarah brings her feline pets to Lady's house when she comes to watch the baby for Jim Dear and Darling, and they go on the prowl for the family bird and goldfish. This one steps out of the goldfish bowl and pauses at the sound of the baby crying, listening intently and asking, "Do you hear what I hear?" because a baby crying means "milk are nearby!" Veteran Disney animator John Sibley masterfully supervised the animation of the Siamese Cats. The CinemaScope cel sheet has been trimmed such that cel number and registration holes are missing. The cel measures 12.5" x 9.75" with an image area of 8.25" x 4.5". Very Good condition.
