    Description

Lady and the Tramp Production Cel Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1955). From the 1955 animated musical romance masterpiece Lady and the Tramp, here are two lovely hand-inked and hand-painted original production cels featuring the two lovestruck dogs to which the title refers. Based on the 1945 Cosmopolitan magazine story of "Happy Dan, The Cynical Dog" by Ward Greene, Lady and the Tramp tells the tale of two dogs from opposite sides of the fence and their romantic adventures in a quaint Midwestern town (visually inspired by Walt Disney's hometown of Marceline, Missouri). These wonderful cels are framed individually under Plexiglas with a mat size of 13.25" x 10.25" and an overall frame size of 22.5" x 18.5". Tramp's frame bears an official golden Disneyland Art Corner sticker on the back. The cels show minor handling wear with slight wrinkling and very minimal paint damage. The condition is Very Good, and the frames are sold as is.
