Description

Lady and the Tramp Production Cel and Pan Master Background Setup (Walt Disney, 1955). "So, have you ever chased chickens?" It may be a weak come-on line, but you have to admit that Tramp was working it in this awesome setup! These two hand-inked, hand-painted cels featuring both of the titular characters are from the scene where Tramp is showing Lady around. They are placed on a simply incredible hand-painted pan Master production background. The background can be seen just after they flee the chicken coup, so the cels and background are from relatively close portions of the movie. Backgrounds for this beloved classic were produced by Claude Coats, Dick Anthony, Ralph Hulett, Al Dempster, Thelma Witmer, Jim Trout, Ray Huffine, Bruce Mack, and the legendary Eyvind Earle. This Pan background is a sheer masterpiece all on it's own... amazing detail, wonderful depth and colors. The entire setup is glass front framed with an inner mat opening of 29.5" x 10.75". Tramp is 3" tall, Lady is 2.25" tall. A lovely setup and in Fine condition.
