Lady and the Tramp Dog Pound Interior Production Background (Walt Disney, 1955). "Hey Dachsie how's it coming?" "One more chorus and we're out!" says Dachsie the Dachshund to the Pound Dogs as they howl "There's No Place Like Home" to hide his tunneling! This is an original hand-painted 16 field background for this tunneling scene at the Dog Pound. Backgrounds of this film, which evoked a turn of the century Americana feel, were done by Claude Coats, Dick Anthony, Ralph Hulett, Al Dempster, Thelma Witmer, Eyvind Earle, Jim Trout, Ray Huffine, and Brice Mack. This is a very detailed background that is just waiting for cels with the Pound Dogs or Peg! The bottom border is marked Scene 53/Sequence 10. Background measures 20" x 12", and has a clear sheet of protective acetate over it. Minor handling and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
