Description

Jack Kirby Fantastic Four "Blastaar the Living Bomb Burst" Storyboard #65 Original Animation Art (DePatie-Freleng, 1978). Six incredible characters, all co-created by Jack Kirby and all penciled by his hand! Blastaar of the Negative Zone is the villain this episode, but that big mutt is Lockjaw of the Inhumans. This powered pooch could teleport the whole group around much like Gordon from TV's Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. That robot in the "flying bathtub"... that's H.E.R.B.I.E., created as a stand-in for the Human Torch who was under contract with a different studio at the time. This episode was written by "Rascally" Roy Thomas and originally aired on April 12th, 1978. This is your chance to own Kirby art on Kirby characters! Graphite on paper with an image area of 12.75" x 7.5". Slight tanning, otherwise in Excellent condition.
