Description

Who Framed Roger Rabbit Baby Herman Publicity Drawing (Walt Disney/Amblin, 1988). Included in this lot is an incredible publicity drawing of Baby Herman created for the ambitious live-action/animated feature Who Framed Roger Rabbit. There were a variety of animated characters in the film, both ones that audiences knew from decades of animation and characters from the novel the film was based on Who Censored Roger Rabbit. Baby Herman is Roger's co-star in his Maroon Cartoons shorts where he acts like an innocent child always getting himself into danger, but offscreen is a 50-year-old chain-smoking, deep-voiced Toon who was primarily animated by Richard Williams and voiced by Lou Hirsch. The color pencil publicity drawing, showcasing Baby Herman's adult personality as he smokes a cigar in full figure, would have been created to promote the film and measures about 4.25'' x 6'' in a 8'' x 8'' mat window. It is displayed in a 16'' x 16'' Plexiglas-fronted frame and is in Very Good condition with light handling wear. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition.
