Scar and Lilo Preliminary Drawing by Disney Legend Andreas Deja (2000s). Lilo has plenty of experience reforming evil characters and she's already started working on Scar in the adorable 16 field preliminary drawing in this lot created by Disney Legend Andreas Deja. If anyone can, it's her! Deja supervised the animation for both of the characters in their respective films and imagined what it would be like if they met in the full figure graphite with color pencil drawing as Lilo tries to give Scar a beautiful flower. The original drawing was created for a birthday card, though Deja later used the design for a watercolor and marker illustration in 2023 for a charity auction. The artwork is a rare and one-of-a-kind exploration of different Disney worlds colliding and the two are large at about 14.5'' x 7'' on the page. If you're a fan of Deja or either of these characters and have ever wondered what it might be like if someone tried to convince Scar to change his ways, the lot is a must-have for your collection and a reminder to find the good in the bad.
