Unfortunately, in real life conditions between the countries took many more years before there was a good relationship. Artist Sam Armstrong (1893 - 1977) would go on to enjoy a brief but fulfilling period of employment with Disney as a background artist, writer, and director from the late 1930s to mid-1940s, and again in 1958-59. This handsome panel is in ink on a sheet of Bristol board measuring approximately 22.5" x 26.5"; the main image area is 20" x 23". In Very Good condition with minor handling wear and mild age-related board toning.
