How to Draw Three Little Pigs and Big Bad Wolf 14" x 8.5" Original Illustration by Disney Legend Mel Shaw (Walt Disney, 1950s). Learn how to draw the three little Pigs with the original illustration offered in this lot, created by none other than the Disney Legend, Mel Shaw (1914 - 2012) for one of the wonderful How to Draw books offered at Disneyland's Art Corner Store. The acclaimed artist began his work with Disney with the classic film Bambi in 1942, and was later involved with the animation, visual development, and story design of many Disney features, with his last participation in 1994 with The Lion King. Created in graphite on a 16.25" x 12" paper sheet, this illustration shows the inscription "How to Draw Walt Disney's Three Little Pigs" on the top area, showing us a stupendous guide on how to draw one of the pigs in five steps, from basic circles to the detailed character, as well as images of Fifer, Fiddler, Practical Pig, and the Big Bad Wolf underneath, all with an image size of 14" x 8.5". Included with the lot is a 17" x 11" printed copy of the final image. The illustration shows normal age-related toning, minor graphite smudging, a minor tear on the top edge, toned stains on the right area, and mild crumpling on the right. The printed copy and the illustration show a fold crease in the center. With light handling and edge wear, the condition is Good to Very Good.
